Gazing New Horizons, Weaving New Ways of Being
A Bostonian native and African-American woman who grew up in Brazil, lived and trained in 5 countries, and resided in 6 states in the United States, I, Jalieh (pronounced dja-leh; origin: Persian: جليعه, also Romanized as Jalī‘eh) have an eclectic background that includes being a graduate from Dartmouth College. Formerly a trilingual (English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish) Assistant Program Director for a Medical Integration Department at a community health center leading Behavioral Health clinicians, Care Management and Recovery Coaching teams. I've served as a certified Recovery Coach supervisor, Care Management Team Leader, Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant (IBHC), In-Home-Therapist (IHT), and certified body-centered Core-Energetics therapist.
Additionally, I have training in conflict resolution, multicultural mediation, and experience in corporate and experiential training & facilitation. I've co-founded a chapter of Healing Racism Institute in São Paulo, Brazil.
I am an eager learner, traveler, co-author (Flexing Your Soul, Moving with Energy and Consciousness; 2005, 2007), poet (|ƏˈPÄSTƏSĒ| Tearin' Veils, Sheddin' Skin A Poetic Medley, 2021), mixed and multimedia artist (FroMe2u4us™), founder of Dynamic Coherence™ unfolding life coaching and counseling, and a committed and engaged family and community member.
I accompany and partner with individuals, groups, and organizations with the purpose of facilitating and catalyzing change in service of progress so to encourage and cultivate the intentional identification, weaving, embodiment, and systematization of higher-order values into sustainable new practices of individual and collective patterns of thinking, being, and doing in service of generating transformational and flourishing cultures. I offer counseling, coaching, and consulting services, experiential workshops, masterminds, speaking engagements, and creative (ad)ventures.
